ANHYDRO 2- step falling film vacuum evaporator for juice and beverage applications.

This evaporator unit is manufactured in AISI 316 acid proof stainless steel. It has two calendria with each 30 pipes x 6.000 x Ø51 mm. The total heating transfer area is thus around 58 sqm.

This evaporator was in operation with direct steam for concentrating 1.250 kg/hour orange juice from 9 % DS to 40 % DS, hereby evaporating around 1.000 kg water per hour. The steam consumption was around 425 kg/hour at 1,5 Bar. If a thermo compressor is introduced, the steam consumption would be only around 185 kg/hour at 6,5 Bar.

This evaporator unit has now been dismantled and is in our stock. All equipment is in excellent condition and comes with the original technical documentation. The electric panel is new from 2016.
